It was such an honour to document these two’s wedding day this past weekend at the Manotick Marina.
Leading up to the big day, the forecast was calling for a 100% chance of rain with 20-25mm expected. We got a little rain in the morning, but about 20 minutes before the ceremony, I asked Max if he thought it would be possible to take the tent down so they could say “I do” by the river, just as they had envisioned. He looked at me like I was a little crazy… but they made it happen!
Wedding days rarely go exactly as planned. They require flexibility, patience, and sometimes a backup plan. But I always remind my couples to embrace the day no matter what, because those unexpected moments often become the most memorable.
Saige and Max are truly perfect for each other, and it was such a joy to witness the love they share. Congratulations to you both! Wishing you a lifetime of happiness and many more fishing adventures together. ❤️🎣
